Mark Levinson N^o 436 Monobloc Power Amplifiers, pair. At 350watts into 8ohms,700 w/ch rms power into 4ohms, 1400 w/ch into 2ohms these amplifiers have enough power to drive practically any load. TAS 2007 Amplifier of the Year. They each have a huge toroidal power transformer, rated at 2372 VA (more than 2,000 watts), for their specified 350 watts output into 8 ohms. They also have 80,000 µF of power supply capacitance. So, even at full 700 watt output into 4 ohms, the N^o 436 power supply has several times that value in reserve.
